The integration and employment of international skilled workers is financially supported by a variety of programs. These differ both in terms of the amount of funding and their duration. A closer look at the funding details is therefore crucial. You will find a selection below.

Grants & programs:

  • Integration grants: Companies can receive financial support from the Federal Employment Agency for the integration of new employees. The amount and duration of the support are determined on an individual basis.

  • Assisted training (AsA): Free support for trainees and companies from training service providers. This includes socio-educational support, language support and specialist tutoring.

  • Vocational training allowance (BAB): Financial support for trainees whose remuneration is not sufficient to cover their living costs.

  • Measures with an employer (MAG): Funded by the Federal Employment Agency to facilitate integration into the labor market.

  • WeGebAU program: Further training for low-skilled employees with the aim of improving their qualifications. The costs are covered by the Federal Employment Agency.

  • Language and vocational courses: Funded by the BAMF to specifically develop language and vocational skills.

  • Entry qualification (EQ): Funded internships as preparation for vocational training.
