The integration and employment of international skilled workers is financially supported by a variety of programs. These differ both in terms of the amount of funding and their duration. A closer look at the funding details is therefore crucial. You will find a selection below.
Grants & programs:
Integration grants: Companies can receive financial support from the Federal Employment Agency for the integration of new employees. The amount and duration of the support are determined on an individual basis.
Assisted training (AsA): Free support for trainees and companies from training service providers. This includes socio-educational support, language support and specialist tutoring.
Vocational training allowance (BAB): Financial support for trainees whose remuneration is not sufficient to cover their living costs.
Measures with an employer (MAG): Funded by the Federal Employment Agency to facilitate integration into the labor market.
WeGebAU program: Further training for low-skilled employees with the aim of improving their qualifications. The costs are covered by the Federal Employment Agency.
Language and vocational courses: Funded by the BAMF to specifically develop language and vocational skills.
Entry qualification (EQ): Funded internships as preparation for vocational training.
