Voluntary refugee sponsorship - expense allowance of up to €40 per month

Volunteer language mediation - allowance of up to €40 per month

Voluntary initiatives/projects - grant of up to €3,500 per year

Voluntary language courses - subsidy of up to €500 per course

The application form must be completed for the respective measure and submitted to the Foreigners and Asylum Office, Accommodation and Integration Department. Also by e-mail to Integration@landkreis-mittelsachsen.de.

Approval is valid for one calendar year and applications can also be submitted during the year. Detailed information on the funding conditions can be found in the relevant information sheets.

Once the application has been received, it will be checked and, if necessary, discussed. If the application is approved, you will receive a grant notification. This includes the following forms:

• Application for disbursement - must be submitted for each disbursement

• Waiver of legal remedies - only for disbursements within the objection period

• Proof of use - to be submitted after the end of the project

• Information sheet - for the respective measure

• Data protection information - for your files

In the annexes to the grant notification or online you will find the application for disbursement. This must be completed, signed and received by the authority in order to initiate the corresponding payments.

Payments can only be made once the grant notification has become final. The final decision becomes effective after expiry of the objection period, i.e. 4 weeks after notification of the decision. If you would like payment to be made immediately after the decision has been issued, the document "Waiver of appeal" is required.

You must prove to the granting authority (Mittelsachsen District Office) that you have used the funding in accordance with the purpose of the grant. The document Proof of use contains a factual report and a numerical proof.

• All language mediator assignments are documented in the assignment list as proof of implementation

For voluntary language courses: List of participants

• As proof of attendance, the participants of the language course must confirm their attendance by signature for at least the first three course units

For volunteer projects: Payment list for volunteers

• It is possible to pay volunteers in projects an expense allowance of max. 40 € per month

• Corresponding payments must be entered in the document
